Yu Xiao 'Never Grow Up'
Posted on March 3, 2010 in Photography:

In her haunting series depicting a lone young girl playing in subtly surreal Chinese landscapes, photographer Yu Xiao manages to strike a serious cord with 'Never Grow Up.' This series serves as a social commentary on Communist China's one-child rule and captures the isolation and loneliness endured by the young Chinese generation -- something to which the twenty-five-year old artist can surely relate.
